Some really great stuff....note many of these things are already in the game.  The new aircraft and map parts are the best parts.

Flew briefly on WoL last night (and it didn't CRASH!  woowho!).  A few thoughts on the new patch:

1.) May just be me, but the game seemed less hazy.  Probably me.  I seemed to be able to see better.  Still died, but I expected that since the sides were 22 to 8 in the LW's favor and I was in an LA.

2.) I really like the new gun sounds.  The LA5's guns sound nasty!  Too bad they are still inaccurate as all hell.  Got a kill, but had to shove the damn cannon muzzle in the back of the 190 I was targeting to hit it. 

3.) I like how I can now use the skins for the bonus planes that I paid money for without having to waste my time on their god awful campaign.  Hopefully they will release the skins for the other planes soon.  Looks like that is the plan based on the Release Notes.

Well...in their defense, it's kinda what they are designed to do.

Might have been a good thing if you wanted your MFGs in a color other than white.

I just recently played War Thunder EC.  It was meh.  Not great, but not horrid.  I got a kill, but it was mostly luck as I have not tweaked my control setup...WT controller defaults are rather retarded..

I'll probably fly it every once in a while if I'm bored.  I put it in the same category as Aces High. WT has better graphics, but AH has an edge on the flight model.

Cheaters really get under my skin.  I hate them even more than serial field vulchers, who in my view should be given massive skidmark wedgies and made to walk around in public with 10-inch high heals like the girly men they are!!

The 109 I initially engage was piloted by Finderbird.  A second 109 joins the fight later.  I killed him with that HO shot but allowed Finder to put some rounds into me.  Still managed to get away as Finderbird ran out of ammo.   

Based on past comments by the devs, I wouldn't count on it....

Looks like North Africa will be the new theater with many new fighters including the Dewoitine D520 and Spitfire V.  Now if I could only talk a few more of you into flying CLoD every now and then....
